My Testimony

Hello, I want to tell about my testimony. Please listen well!

Before that, I want to introduce myself, my name is Yonas Boky, and I was born in Ternate on Juni 27^st 1989. I have two sister, her name is Susan and Erna one brother, his name is Yames.

I became a Christian when I was 20 years old. Before, I lived a chaotic life, I didn’t know God. One day, there was a young Pastor who came to the area where I lived. He served in the church where I worshipped, he taught a lot about repentance and I felt interested about all that he said. He said “Jesus cleans all of our sin. Then I came to him, shared stories about my life and he understood what I needed. He said a lot about the way of life that is close to God. Then we prayed and I surrendered to the Lord to change my life.

On January 14^th 2008, I was baptized by the pastor at the church where I whorsipped. I accepted the Lord Jesus earnestly and left all my past sins, and I had a new life because I had accepted Jesus into my heart.

I promised that I would be a servant of God who would serve Him till I died. Then I was determined to come to STT Jaffray Makassar to be a servant of God. Here I got a lot of experience : spiritual growth, character formation and friendship in God. I grateful until this day, the Lord still gives me the breath of life, so that I can stand up now.
